What's my trade worth? And where do I look?

Last updated 6 years ago

Establishing a fair trade in value for your current vehicle can be stressful and difficult. Where should you look to find a value of your trade in?  There are several resources for establishing the value of a used vehicle, Kelly Blue Book and the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) are just a few.

Kelly Blue Book is a great tool that is easily accessible online at http://www.kbb.com/whats-my-car-worth/?si=trade-known.  Enter some basic information about your vehicle, and then receive an appraised trade in value of the vehicle based on its estimated condition.

The NADA is also available online at http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/Research-Center , it’s very simple to use, again just enter some basic information and receive an approximate value for your trade in.

If you decide to sell your vehicle yourself, you should expect to get a higher price in return for your efforts and the time spent selling your vehicle. However, if you want to trade in your vehicle to your dealership, they will be handling this work for you, hence, your trade in value will be lower than what you might expect selling it yourself.

Here at Willey Honda we will pay top dollar for your used vehicle whether you trade it or we buy it.  Your vehicle will never be worth more!
